“We will continue to communicate with our members and gauge their evolving needs. But it is equally important that you, our members, communicate with us. We cannot seek solutions unless we are aware of problems. Please reach out so that we can then work together to solve any issues you may have.”
That appeal came from APMA President Lawrence A. Santi, DPM, during his inaugural speech at the March 2024 House of Delegates meeting. Dr. Santi has emphasized two-way communication between the membership and APMA leadership during his presidential term, and in keeping with that commitment, APMA is launching a series of listening sessions for members to share input, questions, and concerns with the APMA Board of Trustees and staff leadership. The first of these listening sessions takes place at The National in Washington, DC, on Friday, August 9, at 5:30 p.m.!
If you’re attending The National, join the APMA Board of Trustees, new Executive Director and CEO Meghan McClelland, MBA, and other members of the APMA senior staff, for an hour-long opportunity to share your insight as a member—or a prospective member—of the association. We look forward to hearing and responding to your questions and gaining insight from the members of the profession gathered here in Washington, DC. This is a free-form conversation, open to any and all topics attendees wish to raise.
Thank you in advance for sharing your feedback with your association and supporting proactive communication within the profession!
