The 23rd Annual Joint Meeting of the National Carrier Advisory Committee and Private Insurance Advisory Committee Representatives (CAC-PIAC) is scheduled for November 10 in Alexandria, VA. Your CAC and PIAC representatives play a crucial role in handling reimbursement-related matters. This meeting provides these member volunteers with valuable education and an opportunity to collaborate.
To ensure that our CAC and PIAC representatives have the fullest picture of the issues facing our membership today, we are asking all APMA members to complete this survey by November 1.
This meeting will allow ample time for attendees to engage in discussions about ongoing issues within their respective states and jurisdictions. Representatives can bring up persistent concerns and assess whether others are encountering similar issues.
The data this survey can provide us will be instrumental in prioritizing concerns and identifying areas in need of attention.
In addition to discussing the private and public payer issues APMA membership is facing, participants will also hear from a number of experts on the latest developments in both public and private insurance, including an in-depth exploration of the expected final CY 2024 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. Additionally, Michael Hanna, MPA, currently employed at CGS in DME provider outreach, will deliver a presentation on DMEPOS.
Learn how to contact the CAC and PIAC representative in your state and access details about the upcoming CAC-PIAC meeting at www.apma.org/CACPIAC.
Keep an eye on APMA publications for updates in the coming weeks. Questions? Contact the Health Policy and Practice department at healthpolicy.hpp@apma.org.
