APMA has created a new member-exclusive webinar series titled Coding Refreshers. This series includes six coding topics you may already have encountered but now have the opportunity to review. The series launched last week with “Falls Prevention” and will continue through May 2024.
Members who are new to these topics will benefit from viewing these webinars as well. It is crucial for both physicians and billing staff to make sure they are up to date with these current topics to ensure proper payment of claims as well as to best serve their patients.
Topics include falls prevention (including diagnosis coding), coding updates for the new year, how codes are created and valued, and issues associated with surgical forefoot and rearfoot coding. During these live webinars, members will have the opportunity to ask questions of our coding experts.
All webinars will be recorded for later viewing. A recording of the Coding Refreshers Webinar Series, “Falls Prevention,” is now available for viewing.
