Are you attending The National? Our opening session is not to be missed! On Thursday, July 13, Ross Taubman, DPM, president and chief medical officer for PICA, will deliver the opening address “Servant Leadership—Life is Not a Linear Path.” Dr. Taubman said he will share some of the twists and turns from his own professional journey and how they have affected his approach to leadership.
Above all, he encourages others to develop a vision for the change they want to see in their profession and their communities. “We don’t have to settle for what is today. In fact, we have a responsibility to make things better for the next generations coming after us. Our servant leadership, our volunteerism, can improve things and create a better starting point for those who come after us,” he said.
The opening session also will feature remarks from APMA President Sylvia Virbulis, DPM.
