On March 9, APMA members will have the opportunity to watch a live webinar, “Coding for Biopsies.” Barbara Aung, DPM; Lawrence Santi, DPM; and Jonathan Huey, DPM, will present. The goal of the webinar is to provide physicians guidance on how to code for a variety of different types of skin and soft tissue biopsies and the proper diagnostic codes associated with these.
The presentation will provide the proper technique for performing nail biopsies and the appropriate coding associated with them. It will also examine bone biopsy techniques and their procedure codes and the appropriate diagnostic codes that may be used to complement them. APMA is approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education as a provider of continuing education in podiatric medicine. APMA has approved this activity for a maximum of 1.0 CECH.
