As part of APMA’s ongoing efforts to protect and defend the podiatric medical profession, the 2022 House of Delegates adopted Budgetary Action Item 2-22, which calls for the formation of workgroups to develop an action plan with various pathways for federal, state, and local recognition of doctors of podiatric medicine as physicians.
Under the direction of the Committee on Physician Parity, APMA is seeking volunteers to serve as the member-at-large representative to a workgroup on podiatric medical education and another on testing.
