APMA President R. Daniel Davis, DPM, presented Timothy Tillo, DPM, with the Distinguished Service Citation on Saturday at the 97th Annual APMA House of Delegates meeting in Washington, DC.
The Distinguished Service Citation is APMA’s highest honor, presented in recognition of outstanding sustained accomplishments on the national level in scientific, professional, or civic endeavors. Dr. Tillo graduated from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 1985, and completed residency training at Massachusetts Osteopathic Hospital in Boston, where he was senior resident.
He has served on or chaired countless committees at the state and national level, including the APMA Relative Value Update Committee (RUC) Liaison to the Health Policy Committee. He serves on the Risk Management committee and Claims Committee at PICA.
Dr. Tillo’s research has been published in the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association (JAPMA) and the Journal of Foot Surgery, and presented at the APMA Annual Scientific Meeting (The National).
