APMA is pleased to announce that Dyane Tower, DPM, will join the APMA staff as the new director of Clinical Affairs in early October. The position is a new role but includes many of the duties APMA Executive Director and CEO James R. Christina, DPM, carried out in his previous position as director of Scientific Affairs.
Dr. Tower is a 2009 graduate of the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, served as the inaugural APMA Public Health Fellow at The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice, has earned two master’s degrees in public health and health-care administration and management, and was this year’s recipient of the APMA Rising Star Award. She has been employed by the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in the department of Orthopedics for the past two years.
“APMA is excited to have Dr. Tower join the staff,” said Dr. Christina. “We know she will be a valuable asset in helping the association reach its clinical practice, research, and educational goals.”
